Welcome to the Uk Mental Heath Forums Website. Like our picture here nearly everyone goes through periods of feeling sad, down or prehaps depressed. With some people this sad state can go on for some time or almost become a permanent part of there live. However should this happen to you then there is hope and help out there. This site is intended to help you find it.

Getting Help from this Website

This website details many different types of problem we can have with our mental health. Either as a one off short term problem or as a chronic condition For the moment it concentrates on the depressive illnesses prehaps the one that nearly everyone suffers at some point in there lifetime. As we build the site we will add others such as schizophrenia, personality disorders etc.

If there is one place to start it is the getting help page, this details steps we all should take to get a correct diagnosis of any problem and steps we can take to improve. Down the left side of each page is tips relevant to the page content. Down the right side is links to relevant website, forums and discussion groups which you may find useful.

Our Forums - Talk to Others

Often we can feel alone and isolated, this can be particularly true when we are depressed or have a mental health problem. Just talking to someone else who has similar problems can mean we are not on our own. Our forums are there to provide such support and also for you to help others often a process that can help to aid your own recovery. To use the forums all you need to do is register by filling in a simple form, then you can either read the posts of post yourself. They are there to help you .. please use them.
